Ephesians 6:13-14: Therefore, put on every piece of God's armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of Truth and the body armor of God's righteousness.

When the battle rages, whether it is a Spiritual battle, a health or physical battle, an emotional or mental battle or even financial - whatever the battle, when we are fighting we are in self preservation or survival mode. We are standing in the strength of adrenaline and sharp eye sight looking for the "weapons" fired against us being ready to react or act accordingly. Battles are hard but standing and fighting them comes natural most times.

It is after the battle when we are the weakest. We are worn, exhausted, depleted and the adrenaline has run out leaving us with an "adrenaline hangover". Our mind can be foggy and emotions running out of control - it is then that we must keep our focus - "after the battle ..... Stand your ground". Remember to whom you belong - in Christ you are a child of God. Remember you are made right in Christ. Remember the TRUTH that has and does set you free from sin and death and worry and anxiety and weakness. Ephesians 6:18: ..... Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers.

1 Peter 5:8-9: Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering that you are.

Know your weak spots and guard them in faith and prayer. Jesus has won the Victory and will and is fighting for you too!
