Blindness...

2 Corinthians 4:4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Jesus performed many miracles in His ministry but in John 9 a blind man was made to see…when you really think about it aren’t we all blind until the Lord opens our eyes?…

When Jesus recognized this blind man on the side of the road, he immediately made the first move…He spat on the ground making a clay to anoint his eyes with it and sent him to wash the clay off, receiving his sight…

Sometimes the Lord uses different things in our lives for us to receive Spiritual  vision through other things than muddy clay…perhaps this miracle may come through our children, our marriages, our jobs ( layoffs ), or just the emptiness of life without Jesus …

Just as the blind man received his sight, we receive our Spiritual sight because we trust and obey Jesus…He was sent to be the light of the world and to open our eyes Spiritually…

Even today Jesus still gives sight to the Spiritually blind and in return gives us a relationship with God…His miracles continue everyday and restores the blind…

Father, we thank You for the miracle that You have given us in Jesus…our salvation that includes forgiveness of sin and everlasting life…thank You for loving us and never giving up on us…In Jesus Name…Amen…
