Joshua 24:15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Christi's sister, Cyndy received a call from her mother who delivered the news that Scott might of had a heart attack…and that the EMS was working on him…we immediately proceeded to their home in Verdi, near Pleasanton Texas…upon our arrival it was pretty much evident that his appointment with God had occurred…a loss for the family / Harvest Country Church and friends but a gain for God and heaven…
I met Scott when he was dating Christi, when he was 17 years old…one evening we were all together and were wanting something to drink.…I threw the keys to my new Firebird to him and ask him to go get us something to drink...his face lit up with excitement and he said this is unbelievable…but what was unbelievable was this young man’s commitment to the Lord at 17 years old…
Scott and Christi were engaged and married 1987, and then moved to Dallas to attend DBU where they both graduated with degrees and Scott later received a masters in seminary...their next stop was Enid , Oklahoma where he was called to be a Youth Director at a local church…many other appointments for the Lord were keep and later on he took a call as Pastor of a church in Vermont ...( not exactly the Bible Belt ) after his time there was complete Scott was ready to get back home...we teamed up with him to make the move back home...seems we want get away when are young and want to get back home when we are older...
Harvest Country Church was started with the same commitment to the Lord with like-minded people in the Pleasanton, Texas to serve and minister to the community…
I praise God for Scott and his commitment to the Lord…for that young man of 17 back in 1983 to the time of his appointment with the God…my prayer is that we would have that same commitment to the Lord until our appointment time with God is met...
Heavenly Father, we thank you for Your servant Scott Robertson, his love for You and Your ministry…we pray that You comfort his Family, loved ones, friends, and acquaintances in this time of grieving…fill this void in our hearts with Your presence with peace and love… in Jesus name…Amen…
Enjoy the journey…
In Christ…

Scott was a true man of God. He lived the life he preached and was a shining example of who we are called to be.
His love for Christi was still obvious till his last day on earth. They were a beautiful couple.
I am blessed to have called him Pastor for over 12 years. I know without a shadow of a doubt that he heard “Well done good and faithful servant”
You can introduce Scott to me Jimmy, when we get to home in Glory. I'd enjoy meeting him. Thanks.....
