Luke 10:2 - (Jesus instructed) "The harvest is great but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into the fields".

Jesus didn't say "the believers are few", he said the "workers are few". He goes on to say things like - don't take money or a bag or even extra shoes, don't stop  and visit on the road. These comments show that there should be a sense of urgency, the ability to move quickly and freely as we go to and from 'telling that "The Kingdom of God is near" (vs. 9-11)'.

As true followers of Christ we should not just be believers but also be 'workers' and be out in the fields, working side by side with others, in daily life living with a sense of urgency to share  not only what we know but WHO we know. Many people will never step foot in a church building so a preacher can tell them but when a fellow "worker in the field" shares what Jesus has done for them, most will take note of personal experience. It's not our job as workers to save them or  convince them (that is the job of the Holy Spirit), ours is  to tell them.

Let's hit the fields which are ripe for a Harvest and do our part!
