Confidence Without Fear...

1 John 4:17 And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid of the day of judgement, but we can face Him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.

A former Pastor shared the Bible scripture of 1 John 4:17 and the Spirit has moved me to ask this question below….

Have you ever felt afraid or unworthy at thought of standing before God on judgment day?…to be honest, I sure have because of all the failures and sin that occurred in my life before I accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior…

Perhaps, even after accepting Jesus sometimes the flesh allows us to feel unworthy of His mercy and grace…that is where our Advocate , Jesus Christ takes over any and all our sin / failures because He shed His blood for our sins…

As we live our lives for Him in the here and now, this will change us in maturing to be more Christ-Like….giving us the confidence to stand before God on judgment day without any fear…

As Christians we can face life today and the future of judgement day…because of Jesus’s perfection, God views us with that same perfect love and gives us confidence without fear…

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us with the exact love of Your Son Jesus…in that we can live boldly today and in the future while serving You…thank You for loving us and never giving up on us…In Jesus Name…Amen…
