Live In Victory

1John 5:3-5: Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome. For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

John 6:63: The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

In all our efforts, hard work and battling through this world, none of it can bring the true freedom and victory compared to believing and following our Lord Jesus Christ! When we summit to His leadership, His headship, in our lives and begin to walk out and live by what he has told us everything changes - from our mindset, our heart posture and rhythm of life. He has given us His word, His commandments, His guidance and Holy Spirit not to weigh us down but set us free and give us victory over the ways, patterns and evils of the fallen world we live in.

Our own efforts simply can never compare to the life we gain by giving Christ true "Lordship" in our lives. By faith that Jesus is the Son of God we are saved. By choice we make Him Lord of our lives!
